Learning to Read Music ๐ŸŽถat Home

Image
The Beginning:  ๐ŸŽท Everything has a beginning. And when it comes to music, it’s never quite fair to buy an instrument and let it sit unused for years. If you're serious about playing, the first step I would recommend is learning how to read music, it's the foundation that opens the door to truly understanding and enjoying any instrument. Back in my student days in the UK, I always had a desire to learn a musical instrument. Over time, I bought several, trying to find the one that resonated most with me. Eventually, I settled on the piano (keyboard) , even though it was considerably more expensive than the others. There was something about the piano that felt complete and expressive. However, life has its way of reshuffling priorities. As we kept moving from one place to another, I never had a proper chance to settle down and dedicate time to learning. My Yamaha keyboard remained boxed and stored away, first in a paid storage facility in Feltham , then later in Bracknell . ...

The Rise of Emoji ๐Ÿ˜‡

Image
The Beginning of Emoji In the late 1990s, when the Japanese telecom company NTT DoCoMo first launched its mobile internet system, the journey of the emoji began. Since then, emojis have become a universal language, widely used by people across the globe, including celebrities and even politicians, to communicate on social media. The word emoji itself comes from two Japanese words: “e” meaning picture and “moji” meaning character . At first, the selection of emojis was quite limited, but intense competition in the telecom sector during the 2000s helped these colorful symbols spread rapidly and gain popularity worldwide. By 2023, it is estimated that there are approximately 3,491 emoji characters available for use, making them an essential part of modern digital communication. Who Sanctions the Emoji? ✋ The Unicode Consortium , a California-based organization, sets the international standards for modern digital computing and officially sanctions all the emojis used worldwide....

SUBSCRIBE! SUBSCRIBE! 'MIXED GALA'.

I recently created a YouTube channel called NewZest Media  using my Google account and have started uploading videos. Although I’ve been watching YouTube for over twenty years, I only began posting my own content in August of this year.  In the past, I did create a few commercial videos for a property site and a travel comparison website, but since August, I’ve been sharing unedited, raw footage showcasing my personal travel experiences, music performances, cooking adventures, and even some funny baby moments. I’d really appreciate it if you could SUBSCRIBE ,  LIKE  and  COMMENT  on all these videos, it means a lot and helps the channel grow! Video: Mixed Gala Video: Mixed Gala At first, I thought uploading videos would be pretty easy and that I’d quickly gain lots of views. But once I started, I realized it’s far more complex than I initially imagined, especially if you want your videos to reach a wide audience. Going viral doesn’t just happen by chance; i...

Cooking Delicious Chicken Curry At Home

Image
Perhaps most of us love eating chicken, which makes it the second most-consumed meat worldwide after pork. Chicken is one of my favorite meats, and I enjoy all kinds of chicken dishes. We often cook a variety of meals with chicken, including chicken curry, fried chicken, chicken kebabs, pelau, tehari, barbecue, and more. Just yesterday, my wife and I cooked chicken curry for lunch, just the two of us. Lately, I’ve been experimenting with making videos on different topics to share on my blog. So, when my wife asked if I wanted to record the process of cooking chicken curry, I didn’t hesitate to say yes!  Please watch the full   video to understand the cooking process of chicken curry at home.  https://youtu.be/V_o3i_Zmgcw Video: Russo aka Roni Nutritional Benefits of Chicken: Chicken meat offers numerous health benefits. YouTube and Its Imbalanced Business Practices

Image
YouTube and Its Imbalanced Business Practices I’ve been a long-time user of YouTube, but until recently, I never considered uploading my own original videos to the platform. Years ago, I did post a few commercial clips, but nothing that I personally created. Recently, I decided to give it a try, uploading my own content on a trial basis, just to see whether it could gain any traction or popularity. To be honest, it’s far from easy to get noticed. Creating content for YouTube is an incredibly demanding process. It involves countless hours of work: recording, editing, uploading, and then promoting your videos. And by "promotion," I don’t mean simply sharing a link. It includes writing articles, building backlinks on various sites, researching relevant keywords, engaging with people on social media, and posting content across those platforms. It’s a highly time-consuming and complex effort. On top of that, if you're new to content creation, you’ll likely need to learn a wide...
